À propos / About Us – La Classe de Français
Bonjour et bienvenue !
La Classe de Français was born around my kitchen table when I set out to share my native language and culture with my own children. Their excitement sparked something bigger: a community space where learners of every age and ambition can discover the rhythms, stories, and flavours of the francophone world.
Today our virtual and in-person classrooms welcome children, teens, and adults who need French for school, travel, work, or pure curiosity. Lessons weave together conversation, songs, books, games, and real-world projects so that grammar never lives in isolation. We celebrate the diversity of the 29 countries where French is an official language and the 310 million speakers who keep it vibrant on every continent.
Heart-first teaching. Personalised attention and a warm, encouraging atmosphere turn apprehension into confidence. Culture in every class. From Montréal slang to Senegalese rhythms, learners explore how language and identity intertwine. Clear progression. A structured path—from playful phonics to advanced writing—lets students see their growth at each milestone. Community spirit. Story Time, book clubs, and conversation circles connect families and friends who share a love of French.
" Whether you’re seven years old and hearing bonjour for the first time or planning a business trip to Dakar, La Classe de Français is here to make the journey engaging, attainable, and fun. Rejoignez-nous—join us—and let French open new doors for you "
